Hi, I’m Noah.

I’m a business school professor and sociologist who studies how organizations, culture, networks, and creativity shape innovation and influence our professional lives. My work sits at the intersection of academic research and real-world application, bridging theory and practice to help people better understand the systems they operate in and the communities they build.

With a joint PhD in business administration and sociology, I approach questions of leadership, collaboration, and change with a structural lens, drawing on both qualitative and computational methods. I teach courses on leadership, professional networks, and creativity, and I work closely with students and professionals to connect big ideas to meaningful action.

I’m also the co-author of Orchestrating Connection: How to Build Purposeful Community in a Tribal World (out August 5, 2025), a book that blends sociological insight, psychological understanding, and lived experience into a practical methodology for building purposeful communities. Whether in the classroom, in my writing, or in collaboration with organizations, I care deeply about helping people design environments where relationships and ideas can thrive.

As I like to say, I help create better organizations for better people and better people for better organizations.
